Karl is a 25-year-old former gang leader who has turned his life around dramatically to become a powerful activist and influencer in the UK.

Through his public speaking Karl draws on the extremities of his youth to touch those still within the gang community, whilst providing an insight into the lives of the UK’s younger generations.

He is a gifted orator with the rare ability to connect with people on a human level, bridging worlds and uniting community. These talents came to the forefront through the unsettling 2011 London riots, where he was called upon to speak and express the hard to articulate feelings of his community.

Karl is a tireless community worker and campaigner, working to reform gang culture in the UK. He is currently working on a project which will see the establishment of the country’s first therapeutic community gang rehabilitation center.

Karl presents a hybrid of oratory mixed with poetry to captivate and take his audience on a journey. He has spoken and performed at multiple prestigious events, to everyone from royalty to youth workers. Karl has also spoken for corporates including KPMG, Deloitte, Havas, Wahanda and Virgin.

Karl is living proof that change is possible, and is undeniably one of the most potent young voices in the country.
